Ed Anderson is the founder of Twin Arbor Wealth Management and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional with more than a decade of experience helping individuals and families build financial plans that are personal, purposeful, and built to last. A graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in Consumer Economics & Financial Planning, Ed has spent his career making financial planning and investing feel more approachable and meaningful in people’s everyday lives. His work spans retirement income planning, investment management, tax-aware planning, charitable giving, estate planning coordination, and guidance through major life transitions.

Ed’s years as a lead advisor helped shape the foundation for Twin Arbor Wealth Management: independent, fee-only, and fully in each client’s corner. As a fiduciary, he builds plans around each client’s life and grounds client portfolios in a disciplined, evidence-based approach to investing - with careful attention to the tax decisions that quietly shape long-term results.

Ed grew up in Chicago and spent the first half of his career advising families in Illinois. He and his spouse, Sloan, moved to the Twin Cities in 2018, and Ed, Sloan, and their three boys now call St. Paul home. Outside of work, you’ll most likely find him chasing his boys around outside, enjoying a sauna, starting a new project around the house, or cheering on his Chicago sports teams with varying degrees of success.
